Label A – Women in Tech Summer Camp

tl;dr

Label A is a tech company with about 70 young developers and designers. We build complex websites, SAAS platforms and native apps. I work as a UX Lead in a small design team since January 2015 and it’s a lot of fun!

Introduction

After graduating for the Media Technology MSc. Program at Leiden University, I started working as a freelance designer and developer. After almost a year I felt I could accomplish more when working within a team. I started looking around for cool opportunities.

That opportunity popped up in a newsletter in my inbox. Before I knew I started working as a UX Designer at the Label A office in Amsterdam. We spend most of our days working in Sketch and prototyping tools such as Framer, Principle and InVision.

Goals

  • Becoming a better designer by experiencing the full scope of work in an agency: Collaborating with designers and developers. Dealing with clients. Presenting our work.
  • Designing and prototyping the next level of useful and usable digital products.
